2. Georgia Godwin qualified to all four finals and collected three medals: gold on vault and floor as well as silver on bars. She placed fourth (12.633) on beam after a fall on her acro-series, without it she would have won the gold medal. She had the most difficult routine of all with a 5.8.

3. Another one that had a chance at a beam medal but also fell on her acro-series was Alba Petisco. She had a 5.4 in D-score (the same as winner Marine Boyer) and with a fall she scored a 12.133. Without it she would have won silver, instead 2nd place went to Alba’s teammate Ana Pérez (12.867)

4. After Georgia, the second most decorated gymnast was Morgane Osyssek-Reimer with bronze on vault and silver on Floor.

5. The gold medallists:

6.Margaux Dandois won bronze on bars despite falling from them after she was unable to save an extremely arched back in the low bar.

7.Bars was a particulary upsetting event. Two Hungarian gymnasts scored under a 10. Csenge Bacskay couldn’t save an arched back and jumped off, she remounted and performed well but then landed her double layout on her knees for a 9.267. However Csenge already had a medal, silver on vault.

8.Her teammate Lilla Makai mounted, jumping into the high bar and then performed her first release but fell, determined to make it work she remounted and did the skill again, falling again. She remounted this time in the low bar and transitioned to the high bar falling for a third time. She remounted to perform her dismount, a double tuck, for an 8.033. However, this was just a bad day, Lilla has great potential, watch her qualification routine.

9. Home-gymnast Lihie Raz, placed 6th on vault and floor and 8th on beam.
